Ganesh Chaturthi (Ganesh Festival) is an occasion or a day on which Lord Ganesha, the son of Shiva and Parvati, is believed to bestow his presence on earth for all his devotees. It is also known as Vinayaka Chaturthi in Sanskrit, Kannada, Tamil and Telugu. It is the birthday of Lord Ganesha. The festival is observed in the Hindu calendar month of Bhaadrapada, starting on the shukla chaturthi (fourth day of the waxing moon period). This typically comes sometime between August 20 and September 15. The festival lasts for 10 days, ending on Ananta Chaturdashi. Ganesh, the elephant-headed son of Shiva and Parvati, is widely worshipped as the supreme god of wisdom, prosperity and good fortune.

RAMAZAN also known as RAMADAAN. Ramazan is the holy month of the Islamic calender. During this month Muslim around the world observe fast for the whole month. Fasting during the day means abstinence from food, water and sex. The fasting period starts from an hour before daybreak till after sunset.

The months end with the siting of the new moon which signifies the day for Eid know as Eid-ul-Fitr. Time for Halem:
Halem which is famous in Ramzan season and People in Hyderabad love the halem and In ramzan they make a special dish called haleem. In which the main ingradient is mutton and wheet floor. Its a very rich food. So for the people who fast whole day, this dish is suppose to give healthy rich stuffs.
