Narayana students fall ill

Seventy six intermediate students of Narayana coaching centre fell sick after eating the egg fried rice served for supper on Wednesday here at Kothapet of Saroornagar. All of them, except a girl Pravallika, were discharged by Thursday afternoon after being treated at three private hospitals.

Activists of different student organisations and the Telangana Rashstra Samithi held demonstrations at the centre on Wednesday night accusing the management of the centre of negligence. Mild tension prevailed when some of them barged into the centre and damaged the kitchen and furniture.

Traffic restrictions in Hyderabad

Here are some Traffic restrictions in Hyderabad and people are advised to know the rules and follow accordingly .

"Right turn at Yashoda Hospital, Somajiguda, is banned from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. from Friday to ease traffic congestion, the police announced on Thursday.

Vehicles coming from Model House and Punjagutta sides will not be allowed to turn right at Yashoda hospital, the Traffic ACP T. Ram Sudhakar said. They should take a left turn at Rajiv Gandhi statute, take a ‘U’ turn to go to Raj Bhavan road.

Similarly, vehicles coming from Raj Bhavan road would not be allowed to take ‘U’ turn at Yashoda hospital. They should proceed to Rajiv Gandhi statue and take ‘U’ turn to reach the road opposite to Yashoda Hospital. Vehicles coming from Rajiv Gandhi statue would not be allowed to turn right at the hospital. They shall proceed to MMTS station and take ‘U’ turn to reach the road in front of Yashoda Hospital."
